is it better to quarantine a suspected virus or delete it

I am using Vivaldi as my browser when I got this redirect from Norton security about possible virus in my system. I went to gnome software found Clam Tk.Ii used Clam TK program to check for virus. It found 5 potential problems. How can tell if it is better to quarantine or delete it? Thanks for help
