No sound with ubuntu 22.04 on Dell Venue 11 Pro 7140

Hello fellow forum users,

since a few weeks I've updated my Dell Venue 11 Pro 7140 to the new ubuntu 22.04. One issue I'm currently not able to solve is getting sound to the speakers. When I play a sound file it runs through but you can't hear sth. By pressing the volume up and down key a "Dummy output" overlay appears where one can increase or decrease the sound. Still no sound though. When plugging in external speaker at the 3.5mm port this also remains unchanged.
For the record, I've installed ubuntu 22.04 fresh from the image, so no upgrade from previous versions should cause trouble here. I updated to the newest version today, but this issue remains. Kernel version is 5.15.0-37-generic.
When searching the internet I've found various descriptions of sound issues with the Dell Venue 11 before on older ubuntu versions but they all claim to be resolved ([1] https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...x/+bug/1464757 and [2]https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...x/+bug/1477859).
