"No address associated with hostname"

Hi everyone.
I installed ubuntu 22.04.1 in my laptop, however I am having this error when I was testing if it had a connection to the internet:

dcostcam@LIS-JN8KW33:~$ ping google
ping: google: No address associated with hostname



I have checked multiple sites with similar error message, but all of them seem to be for different purposes.
Does anyone know what the problem might be?
