First Step ... Crashed and Burned.

Hi,

LINUX newbie here.

Just installed Ubuntu Server and everything seemed to go smoothly, no problems really.

First login attempt... "incorrect login"! Tried every conceivable combination of user name and password with no luck. Reinstalled the software twice paying particular attention to these items, still no luck.

Any ideas folks?
