Bluetooth headphones are recognized, but don't work in Ubuntu

I just installed ubuntu and my headphones are not working. I am using the usb bluetooth dongle that comes with the headset, ubuntu detects the headphones, shows audio is playing into them, but that is not happening, it works with audio jack and monitor speakers, but not bluetooth, any help is appreciated.
