Some actions can not be performed in Plesk: Task async execution failed: Unable to execute application.

Symptoms

• Unable to export database dump:

Task async execution failed: Unable to execute application.

• Many actions in Plesk fails with the error below found in %plesk_dir%\admin\logs\php_error.log file:

Cause
Wrong permissions for psaadm user.

Resolution

• Connect to the server via RDP
• Start Plesk Reconfigurator at Windows Start > All Programs > Plesk
• In Plesk Reconfigurator, click Repair Plesk installation.
• Select the options Plesk Server Accounts, Plesk File Security and Plesk Services, then click Check:
