hi im new to linux in general and am trying to get y ds4 controller to work

i cant get my ds4 contrller to work with games. i play all my games using geforce now as my laptop can not run most games but unfortunatley my dualshock 4 controller will not work on linux even though it sholuld. it says its connected but wont register an input.
