Scribus no longer exports PDF:s

After I upgraded from 12.04 to 13.04 I notised that my when I exported my scribusfiles to PDF they just came up as blank files. What's worse is that all the other pdf-files I made with Scribus before the update also is blank.

The files are a food-list for every week. I've had a picture with 40% opacity in the background. Before the upgrade I've been able to export the files to PDF:s and it's been working just fine. Now I had to change the opacity of the backgroundimage to 100% to get it working and the old files with the opacity set to 40% came up blank.

Is there any suggestion to what may have caused this issue?
