Honestly I've given this OS 1 year + 6 months on my MX4. I've given it every chance to improve to the level I would expect for a basic but decent phone experience. It still to this day has not delivered. As much as I have seen some great projects get launched on the platform, the platform itself still had serious issues.

- Sometimes audio would disappear and I would need to restart the phone to get it back.
- Regular crashing of the OS.
- Couldn't transfer photos while on holidays over bluetooth.
- Audio glitch released with the phone that would never get sorted.
- Webapps for popular services like FB were pretty bad but the day I couldn't click on "reply" to FB comments was really the last straw.
- The hardware is great yet the OS/apps always seemed slow.

Canonical has killed the experience for people by switching to Snap and essentially killing Touch/Touch app development in the process. I can't describe how much happier I am to have a consumer grade OS (Android) on my phone now. Ubuntu Touch I would still consider very Alpha at the moment. Maybe if it didn't crash so much I would call it Beta quality.
