SSO login created new account different from existing Ubuntu Forums account

Hello,

I have recently logged in for the first time via SSO. I have indicated the e-mail address that was associated with the Ubuntu Forums account but, because I no longer have access to that e-mail, could not validate it and had to indicate a different e-mail address for verification.
I guess because of that I ended up with a new account rather than the old one.
I would appreciate if you could restore my old account
Please let me know how I can help solve this.
