Log terminal session & weird characters

Hello,

I am trying to log my terminal sessions.
I use the script command to auto save it to a file.
My issue is that it also includes any time I press the up arrow or something similar additional symbols.
Also if I go up a few commands with the up arrow, all these commands that will pass they will also appear in the log file even though they were not run. They were simple in the history of the up arrow

Is there any solution for this?
