password for ubuntu image not working

i reinstalled the image on the micro SD card after formatting.

the image is ubuntu - so i can run a presearch node

when i try to SSH to the IP the user should be ubuntu and pword should be ubuntu

but the login does not work. access denied because the password is not working (still the same as the previous user even though i formatted?)

does anyone know how to fix this problem?
