Can I recover my old account please?

Hi there,

I have an old account, which hasn't been used in like a decade, however the password reset function does not work. I know the email address provided is correct because if I sent the old account a private message then I get an email notifying me about the message sent to the email address for the old account.

So how can I get this fixed? Now I made a couple of forum posts on this one, I guess ideally the accounts are merged, but not fussy, I just want my old account back!
