how to create recovery disc for acer chromebook when using Ubuntu 22.04

I have an acer chromebook as secondary laptop. Unfortunately I never made a usb recovery for it. I'm getting error message os is missing or damaged. The chromebook recovery utility doesn't recognize Ubuntu Ubuntu. is there another solution? THX for help.
