Question: Website or webmail configured in Plesk shows Web Server's Default Page or Plesk login page

Symptoms

  • Website or webmail configured in Plesk shows Web Server's Default Page or Plesk login page.
  • The nslookup utility shows that the website is resolved to a public IP address that is available in Plesk at Tools & Settings > IP Addresses:

# nslookup example.com 8.8.8.8
Server: 8.8.8.8
Address: 8.8.8.8#53

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: example.com
Address: 203.0.113.2

  • A different IP address (public or private) is selected for this domain at Domains > example.com > Web Hosting Access:




Cause

Private or incorrect public IP address is assigned for the domain.


Resolution

1.Log in to Plesk

2.Go to Domains > example.com > Web Hosting Access and set the IP address on which domain is resolved globally:
