Any suggestions on gaining Linux experience to become a sysadmin?

I just recently passed my LPIC-1/CompTIA Linux+ exams, in the hopes of breaking into obtaining a Junior Linux Admin position. However, I realize that most companies are only looking for people with years of experience. Do you have any suggestions on how to gain verifiable experience with companies, in order to secure a position?
