Software not responding (POP-OS)

I know this is for system76 hardware, but if someone could help even point me in the correct forum it would be much appreciated.

Upon opening, most, programs I immediately get a window saying the program is not responding.
If I click wait it will go away and the program will work fine. It started doing this one day when I tried to open the settings,
except the setting would not open at all until after the second reboot. Now the setting no longer do it, but most other programs do.

I have noticed that every game, whether it's steam, pop store, appimage, etc.., will do it every time. I have had
no issues with command line programs which leads me to believe its graphics related.
