Timeshift without the GUI - looking for a guide -

Learning the hard way!
Ubuntu 21.10 server - no GUI. on Raspi 4gb.
After many re-installs now at the a point where I would like to backup.
Installed Timeshift (comes in the local repositories on 21.10) - but having no luck in learning how to run it from the Command Line - googling just takes me to people running PC's + Mint & etc

Please could someone help with link to a non GUI 'how to'.
