software to display downloaded weather data

I'm sorry... I am tired of searching. I have been looking at web pages / software for the past two hours...

I am looking for a software package that would allow me to graphically display weather data downloaded from a web server. All I can find are packages that let you display data retrieved from your own web station. I don't want t build/setup a weather station (right now). I have an old laptop sitting around doing nothing that I want to gut and install in a custom build case/frame that I can use as a dedicated weather display.

I want to display temperature, humidity, forecasts, precipitation chances/amounts, windspeed, alerts, etc... in a nice full screen graphical environment. I would run this as a startup up in full screen at boot and there would theoretically be no need for a mouse or keyboard, although I could extend the USB ports to the outside in case one were ever needed.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.
