Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.1 + Ubuntu

I've got a specific task for work. We're tired of using our laptops to deploy DRAC IPs using a PowerShell script, takes forever, especially with 45 1u Servers.

So I did some Google searching and I've ran across multiple videos of installing Ubuntu in a "VM" style. Since I don't have a Galaxy Tablet yet, I was wondering if this was legit or not.

It feels like a Security issue to me. And the forums seem quite empty.
Also looks like Ubuntu Touch for Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.1 is dead?
