Linx 1010B - How to watch for input events?

Hi there,
Im currently running ubuntu on my Linx 1010B tablet and it runs amazingly well the tablet does have a capacitive button on the bottom of the tablet in the form of a windows logo (In windows this would in effect click the start button) i would like to reuse this button in ubuntu, i have tried using xev and xev --root but there does not seem to be any events generated by this button.

Can anybody point me in the right direction to investigate?
