304 Not Modified Error Wine Installation

When I attempt to download Wine I receive this error: Error 304 Not modified. My download is aborted.

I followed the instructions on the Winehq website. All went well until I tried to download Wine.

I am using desktop version 23.04 and attempted to download the version of Wine applicable to ver. 23.04.

My installation of Ubuntu is new and I added no other apps.

Please help me fix this. I tried a couple of the web fixes, but no joy. I really don't want to have to reinstall Ubuntu.

I did try searching this forum. No joy.

I am very new to Ubuntu, so please be specific and basic.
