Any help in regards to this would be extremely helpful. My audio previously worked with I suppose the previous version of Ubuntu but at some point an update caused my sound which was coming out of my external speakers to cease. It took me a little while to notice since I wasn't doing anything that required audio. Either way, when I went to change my sound settings as I figured for some reason HDMI output was not selected. However,to my surprise i didn't see HDMI as an option, only s/pdif which I don't have connected. I've scoured the Internet, tried several different options, killing pulseaudio and restarting it, editing the quiet splash in grub, pretty much everything in the first 3 pages of google but to no avail. If it was the version of jammy i would think it would have been resolved with a fresh install which I just did here's the output for hostnamectl
Static hostname: Boxy

I have a Radeon 570 which is and has never had a problem displaying video. I tested with a live usb of Pop to see if perhaps there was an issue with the HDMI output on the card however, when I booted into Pop HDMI was right there in the sound settings where it should be. I suppose this could be resolved with a set of speakers but c'mon I know all of the pieces of my setup function I just don't understand what the issue is with Ubuntu. Again, any help or advice would be so so appreciated. I just want to be able to watch a tutorial on youtube and hear what they are telling me. Thanks
