No applications showing in DASH

After a failed upgrade from 20.04 I was able to get 20.04 back and working but there were no applications showing when I clicked in DASH.
Nothing.

Then my system prompted me to upgrade to 22.04 which I did.
On restart however I still have no applications in DASH.

Can they actually be Gone?
Or are they just hidden and not displaying for some reason?
I'd love to not have to reinstall everything.
