PC problems-GPIO chip

I just moved and I can boot ok but I get a message during boot with several numbers and "GPIO chip" followed by more numbers. The message doesn't stay on the screen long enough to fully read. Ubuntu seems to run ok, but Firefox doesn't open "http://www. Anything. I get another GPIO chip message. I've loaded a couple of different distro's and it does the same. It's internal to the pc. Anyone know what is happening?
