I I have just come into possession of a Dell 7060 sff computer with W11 on a 256 nvme ssd. I have ordered two 1TB ssd's to replace the 256 ssd. Since I don't have any experience with ssd's I have a few questions to ask.

I read that a new ssd must be quick formatted before use. Should I use windows to format the new ssd's or will gparted work as well?

Can gparted be used to copy w 11 from the 256 ssd to the 1Tb ssd or should I do a clean install of W 11?

Is there anything different I should do to Install Ubuntu 22.04.3 along side W 11?

I have a usb external nvme ssd enclosure.

I am hesitant to do anything until I know what I am doing. Thanks for any replies.
