Title: gnu backgammon program crashes

Just upgraded to ubuntu 22.04. in development mode. How can i install the lts stable now?Gnu Backgammon opens up then crashes. I tried uninstalling and purge it. Reinstalled it but it still crashes. What seem to be the problem.
