Title: Ubuntu takes a while to get in
Post by: mahesh on Aug 30, 2023, 08:04 AM
Good afternoon. I have a trialboot on my notebook's ssd: Ubuntu 20.04, Windows 10 and Ubuntu 22.04. Everything was fine until using Ubuntu 20.04, when trying to open the terminal using ctrl+alt+t, by mistake I must have typed ctrl+windows+t, as I am used to using the desktop keyboard that only has one key between the ctrl and alt, while the notebook has two (it also has Fn). From there, the note crashed. I couldn't restart even with alt+print+reisub. I had to turn off the note button. And when I turned on, Ubuntu had the screen loading with the terms of loading quickly rising for more than 2 minutes until the login screen to put the password appeared, whereas before, Ubuntu entered in just 20 seconds and without the screen login and password. The strange thing is that Ubuntu 22.04 happened the same problem to start. Windows is normal. I've tried using the "advanced Ubuntu options" of boot (grub), including using another Kernel, I've tried using the restore point that I had created with timeshift, and other options I found in tutorials and nothing worked. I found that, if at the time of loading I keep pressing any key, Ubuntu enters fast and without the login screen. On Ubuntu 22.04, at the beginning of the loading screen the following appears: ^[[20~^[[20~^[[20~^. This until the end of the line and for several lines until then the normal loading terms appear, which takes more than 2 minutes until the login screen appears. Does anyone have any tips? Sorry if the translation from portuguese to english has errors, as this is using Google translator which often has errors.
