Question: Can't log in to webmail after migration: Login Failed


Applicable to:

• Plesk for Linux
• Plesk for Windows

Symptoms

• Unable to log in to webmail (Horde, Roundcube, MailEnable, etc.) after migration

Login Failed

• A DNS propagation tool shows that the webmail URL (e.g webmail.example.com) still resolves to the previous server's IP address

Cause

The webmail's DNS record isn't fully propagated yet and still points to the old server in some locations.


Resolution

Wait until the new record is available on all global DNS servers. This process can take up to 48 hours.
