Hi all,
I would like to find the best PDF-to-text converter in Ubuntu. The end result has to be ePub, but I don't really care about the in-between steps.
I have some older purchased (non-DRM) PDF books that I bought before ePub really took off and I'd like to read them on my iPod.
I've tried Calibre, and it works great at converting everything else except PDF. For some reason, the PDFs run through Calibre always lose their text formatting and go all wonky.
Thus, is there something better? I don't care if it has to be a two-step process (ex. PDF to odt, then ePub).
Cheers
