Title: Mousekeys configuration
Post by: kalpana on Nov 14, 2023, 04:45 AM
I am using mousekeys, but am habving trouble switching it on/off from the keyboard. I can do so by going to System settings -> Universal Access -> Pointing and Clicking. However various threads mention shift and Numlock to turn it on off. And the documentation on this page:

https://help.ubuntu.com/11.10/ubuntu...mousekeys.html

Mentions only numlock to turn it on and off.

The problem is: none of this works. The only way I can control whether mouse keys is on or off is by going to the Univeral Access menu. This is annoying because I use the numpad for typing numbers and would like mousekeys to only work on when the numlock is off. (This is how it works on Windows).

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks,
Robin
