Flashing the screen does not work. Please, I really need this. I'd like to point out that this would most likely fall under the ADA, so I would like to help Canonical achieve ADA compliance. Can you imagine the volume I sometimes require without my hearing aids and even with my hearing aids I still require blasting volume. People will comment and ask me to turn down the volume. It really gives PTSD to those with normal hearing when the system goes beeb.
