I'm a total newbie, but if I'm ever going to be an Ubuntu convert I'm going to need virtualization of some sort. I've played around with Ubuntu for a number of years, but need some MS apps so keep going back to MS. I recently tried (unsuccessfully) to install VirtualBox with a download from Oracle. It didn't go well and I'm now on a fresh install of 22.04.1 and would like to install a virtualization app to run WinXP. It seems that consensus leans more toward KVM with some sort of GUI frontend. Any suggestions on how to proceed would be appreciated. I've looked on the KVM site and that install seems to be pretty straight forward -- as long as it doesn't require much work at a terminal prompt. Is there an easier install through synaptic or some other recommended method?
