Title: Torchlight 2 Firewall connection problems
Post by: mahesh on Oct 30, 2023, 07:52 AM
Hello there! im in Ubuntu 23.04, and im having this strange problem at the moment of trying to connect with torchlight (GOG) in native linux, i cant manage to get a connection online, i can see the gamelist in the lobby and create a game (Nobody connected, so i cant know if they can) i keep getting the "Firewall error", did some work around in the UDPORTS of local_settings.txt of the game changing it from 0 to 4546, my firewall is disabled and i dont know which other thing to do, i read about some people that could solve it with "port forwarding" but i dont have any idea to which direction i need to do that, as extra info i searched the logs from the game and i keep getting this messages:

[18:41:39] Net WARNING Error in sendCallback for client 101: Invalid argument
[18:41:42] Net WARNING Received a message with flags 90 from unknown client at 127.0.0.1:4171, dropping!

I dont know much of the net setting in ubuntu, (Learning my way) so any help will be appreciatted
