Title: How to uninstall a deb package
Post by: mahesh on Aug 04, 2023, 07:51 AM
some time ago I downloaded ozone.deb and installed by

> sudo apt install ozone.deb

The commercial licence worked like expected and I set a icon to the favorite bar. Now I like to uninstall this version V2.70e before upgrading to any later version. Unfortunately, the package does not appaer in the ,,installed" group of the Gnome Application Manager.

> locate ozone

shows, that the package is obviosly installed in

/opt/SEGGER/ozone

and some minor files in

/usr/share/doc/ozone

What is the prefered way to uninstall this package ?
