I have upgraded Ubuntu 22.04 to Ubuntu 22.10 beta last Friday evening on my Lenovo laptop.
I have nVIDIA drivers 515.65.01 for GeForce GTX 2060 Mobile.
I still use Xorg X11 and not wayland and I use gnome.
When I start VLC there is no image, just black screen.
But when I stop VLC, there is a flash of an image from the video.
I removed .config/vlc and .config/share/vlc, didn't halp.
I switched Tools / Preferences / Video / Output == VDPAU output and get:
Code:
bert@legion5ubuntu:~/.local/share/vlc$ vlc
