Title: xfburn records mp3 tracks at too high rpm
Post by: kalpana on Oct 17, 2023, 05:56 AM
Xubuntu 22.04.2

Normally, I use a USB device to transfer files from computer to player, but we have a couple of near-vintage vehicles that do not accept USB devices, only CD audio discs. We want to play home-recorded MP3 compilation CDs in our vehicle players; however, every audio CD on which I have attempted to record MP3 files come out having been recorded at a higher rpm than normal using xfburn. You know, like Alvin and the Chipmunks.
This is the first time I have encountered this issue. The last time I created an audio CD a couple of years ago, the CDs came out playable. This occurs on two different computers, both with Xubuntu 22.04.2.

Purchased audio CDs and locally stored mp3 files play just fine using Parole Media Player.
I have searched the Multimedia forum for similar issues with no success.
Does anyone what is going on here?
Cheers,
