Running 22.04.02 LTS. Auto-update just ran itself. Complained that "Not all updates could be installed", with, as usual, no useful info.
Symantic package manager reports 0 open packages. And "The software on this computer is up to date."
The NVidia driver installer situation, for an NVidia GeForce RTX 3070, changed. "Additional drivers" has all options greyed out except "Continue using a manually installed driver". Before the "update", the listed driver was one of the standard options. I did not manually install a driver. I was using one from the list shown under Additional Drivers.
Now I can't select a driver. All GUI options are greyed out.
An NVidia utility says I have driver 530.41.03 installed, which is not on the greyed-out driver list. Listed versions range from 470 to 535, but not do not include 530.
How can I get driver updating un-stuck?
